Default Which Actuator???

Morning all,

Hopefully somebody can help me, I got my car remapped recently and was told I could do with a new actuator, I went to buy one online and it seems there are so many options regarding springs?

How do I know which spring I need? if my boost is set at 1.4 bar do I need a 1.4bar spring? or more or less?

All a mystery to me haha

Keep it below what minimum boost you want to run 14 psi = 10 psi etc

OK thanks, so if my boost is set at 1.4 bar I should be ok with a 1 bar actuator for example?

Speak to a professional and experienced tuner such as Zen Performance or Turbo Dynamics.
Actuator operation is so important to how your turbo will respond you could be very disappointed with the result if you picked the wrong one.
Someone I know recently bought a brand new turbo from a very reputable supplier. Said turbo performed really badly in terms of spool and overall boost development.
After sourcing and fitting a better suited actuator the turbo performance was transformed, and no other changes made.

Best thing just get a actuator that is adjustable and then set it up to suit.SJ.
