Wink ticking noise

Hi I have a 95 wrx import impreza. Once ive been driving the car and its warmed up I get a ticking noise at lows revs and if you give it a rev at tick over.id say maybe between 1500rpm -2500rpm . Its sounds like it comes from the back right hand side of the engine as you look at it . It drives fine and engine seems to run great. Any ideas what it could be. Im going to pop to extreme scoobies sometime this week just thought id see if anyone had this at all before.
cheers Jon

i have a 95 import mate and had simular, check actuator arm to turbo is tight , if its loose put some tension on it, if you have a manual boost controller scrap it as it may be your boost solenoid chattering as mine did as it wasnt left correctly after a manual boost controller was put on. i scrapped it and plumbed in stock boost solenoid, tightened actuator,no more ticking. just a suggestion as you said the back right of engine and this is where actuator and solenoid are.

Cheers for the suggestion mate. Its the back right hand side if you look at the engine from infront of the car .

no worries, when i got mine it sounded like there was something loose in the bell mouth area, felt the actuator arm and it was loose, it took of c clip, pulled of actuator end and a good tip is to wind it so you can see through the hole only 3/4 of the pin then pull actuator arm towards pin and press on giving it a bit of tension, felt it and nice and tight, put c clip back on and noise went
