Hey guys

I've just recently changed the oil on my scooby and have noticed that there is a bit more noise coming from the front end I don't know whether it's just me. I used a shell helix 10w 40 fully synthetic oil when I changed it. Does any one have any ideas whether it's the oil or something else etc

 

When you say "front end" do you mean the cambelt area? If so, there's nothing there other than the oil pump, that is oil related.

Just sounds like the tappets are noisier never really noticed this before when I first bought the car but after the oil change I've noticed they sound louder. Also when I checked the oil it was black and was only changed 3 weeks ago
