Impreza ecu chip good or bad
Hi all just got my first impreza 1992 wrx checking every thing out after a rebuild and found this chip in ecu any advice on what it is should I leave it in it seems to be bigger than the ones I've seen so not sure about it any advice would be much appreciated cheers [/IMG] one of these must work

Same as whats in mine (esl v1.0) so I say its good as it still allows the ecu to recognise the engines sensors therefore pick up fault codes..
Look up andy Stevens (esl main man on here) and he should be able to give you some more insight mate ;-)

Thank you bud for putting image on still unsure me ant technology never was very good any ideas why there are two chips and are they mappable cheers again bambam

If it hasn't been played around with it's based on a Z4/6K and is set for 1.1bar, 11:1AFR on boost and a little less ignition. As has been said, it isn't mappable and is preset.
It's generic and we stopped making them to make way for ESL live, which is alot better although more expensive.
