Does anyone know what air filter is required to fit to a hawk, either in wing or in bay???

i had a hawkeye with a aps system which went in the wing,away from engine is better.

Hi mate I don't know if this will help but I have a blob sti and I fitted a k&n re 0930 in the inner wing and have had no problems hope this helps

You ideally want the biggest filter you can fit / inner wing / bay
Will be different so firstly decide wich 1 you are goin for
Cylinder or barell filters work well

What made you opt for the filter in the engine bay? And what extra pipe work is required

I'm running a different set up now - this is an oldish pic
- tried many set ups using the supplied HDI pipe work
The filter in the pic is sitting on a HDI Maf tube
I have a cold feed running in
Granted the filter isn't the prettiest 1 in the world
But it performed very well

for an inner wing filter, when the filter needs changing each year I take it you need to take the wing off?

Should be able to just do it by pulling arch liner out the wsy
