Default power steering pump

is a power steering pump on a 95 wrx a hard and expensive job, how much roughly are they new?

I Paid 560+ vat for mine (V3) after 2nd i bought used was scrap ... I would upgrade to a newage pump and remote reservoir- that would be cheaper and more space for induction upgrades.
As for fitting a good home diy'er should have it covered Be sure and bleed all air out of system turning wheel lock to lock and topping off before driving. see you tube for videos for inspiration
Any one tried this swap? Are pulleys compatible etc?

I got a spare pump from a 1999 uk2000 if any good pump itself isn't that old

Fitting a later spec pump isn't a hard job, even I managed it.
