Default Rear bang / knock simply resolved

Over th past couple of weeks I started hearing the most annoying knocking from the rear right hand side.

Fearing the shocks I set about trying to find it, but all was solid and well.

But the noise continued.

Friday whilst putting something on the back seat I pushed the door shut only to her the knock.

Swinging the door recreated the same sound, so off came the door card today.

This was my findings

A large chunk of the OEM sound deadening had booken away and was swinging on its plasic backing against the inside of the door.

Cut it away and noise resolved.

Cheers

Can't believe how badly put together these UK Hawks are !

Even the sound deadening doesn't want to be associated with them

Is it a PPP, as I imagine the sheer power of ECU and gear ratio has compromised the structural integrity of the car
