Default FMIC on Newage STI - a few questions

Looking to fit a FMIC on my Newage but have a couple of questions.....

I've got a RCM induction kit, will the pipes fit ok with it fitted?

I want to keep the standard re-circ DV, where can a get an adaptor kit from, and is it easy to do?

Any pics of either of the above would be appreciated.

Thanks

What kit are you looking to get Gary? Either way you can overcome when fiting pipes bu cutting the silicone hose . Ive got same kit and whas looking at exactly the same options . I got a pic the way mine sits and my Martin 850's with the japspeed kit ...

RCM cone and japspeed FMIC...I found it a squeeze with the ABS pump under the filter.

Gary hunt for a proper kit instead.... Your top mount does the job perfectly for your 400?
Rather make a heat shield to eliminate the heat soak if that's the case....

When Simon mapped it he said there was more to give but the FMIC (and headers) are holding it back.

Are the Japspeed and Ebay kits not to clever?

I run an APS FMIC with an RCS induction kit without any problems............apart from having to fit a smaller battery and battery tray.

I use the Japspeed FMIC which I installed myself, along with the RCM induction. It's a tight fit but can be done.
I see you're an ESOC member? If you're anywhere near Romford you're more than welcome to take a good look and as I installed it myself, I can give you some pointers on fitting with in-job photo's.

Here's my set up with a Hybrid FMIC from the late Harvey Smith. Initially there was no way the pipework would fit over the large RCM cone. Harvey suggested bending the ABS pipes but I didn't fancy that. An alternative was to cut way some of the inner wing. In the end I cut the cool pipe and rotated the lower section about 20 degrees and then it fitted perfectly. A Forge recirc keeps the noise levels down.
