Will Newage STI run without any exhaust sensors
If I fit the full Decat exhaust system from a classic onto my Newage V7 STI will it run well enough to get me around for a couple of weeks until I can afford to get it re-mapped? The only hole the complete system has for any sensors is right at the top of the downpipe near where the flange bolts up to the turbo.

Transferred it over (took ages). It was a full Jasma Decat from Turbo back taken from a classic, fits O.K, just had to reverse (cut & weld) the hanger just in front of rear box. The rear oxygen sensor is located in one of the middle sections of the standard exhaust. I have simply removed it & cable tied it to the chassis. I had advice from Simon - Jollygreenmonster that it would run O.K without it. He was right it runs fine and have noticed a big improvement in acceleration without the CAT's (haven't ragged it) but even up to about 4000 RPM the difference is obvious. Just thought I'd re post incase anyone needs an answer in the future.
