Default Classic Import down pipe confussion

I need a replacement down pipe for my MY00 UK Turbo 2000. I went to look at a couple from import cars but there was no lamda sensor before the cat on either of them. We assumed that the import cars were not fitted with lamda sensors.I was then told that only V1 and V2 imports came without sensors and that V3 onwards were the same as UK cars.Just to clear this up can owners of V3 onwards Classics, WRX and STi, check if there is a lamda before the cat on the downpipe, if there is it improves my chances of getting one. Thanks

yes thats correct, only JDM V1&2 classics had the sensor in the headers - every other classic wether UK or JDM has it just after the turbo............

My V3 STi has a lambda sensor BEFORE the cat.

I know that for a fact as my downpipe is currently lying on the kitchen floor.

Yes I am single.

The lambda sensor is just after the turbo on my UK turbo 2000 and before where the cat would have been (decat downpipe).
