Default 02 sensor

Just fitted a decat to my 1996 wrx import and found that there was no oxygen sensor to fit into the top part near the turbo, is this normal? I'm currently driving it with no oxygen sensor :/ but it seems fine.

your 02 sensor should be in the headers on drivers side, the hole you are refering to is the egt probe hole just blank it off.

Also on the end that meets the exhaust middle section there was no where to put the cone gasket on the rcm decat, a normal gasket will be fine here yeah?

mine is just a oval flange with 2 bolt holes, you may have probs then if the system is made for a std downpipe

It's making a whistling sound but I think that's because there's no gasket so I've ordered one, I think it should be okay.
