Default Fuel pump walbro

Hi peps I have just brought a walbro fuel pump
But think its wrong one
Mine has the wat I think are the feed pipes in line
The walbro I brought they are off set and wiring different
It's for a wreg classic turbo 2000

Just looked at a eBay listing and the one I got is for early 2000 mine a late one so pump is wrong and it's the inlet and outlet that are in line on my pump
As are hrc fuel pumps any good

Ok brought a walbro gss342 but doesn't have wiring can I use the Subaru wiring as I have a standard pump at mo

Have I got to keep the Capacitor when wiring in fuel pump

I have a w reg classic, what do you mean about the early 2000 and late? All classic ones are the same I thought

I have a pump and fixing bracket and top plate for sale off a 1999 facelift phase 2, not a walbro but was fine running a td06 @ 330ish

Not according to walbro there are two types of pumps for classic
One where inlet and out let are in line that's the walbro gss342 and then there is the one with inlet and out let are opposite which is walbro gss341
342 fits bug eyes but very last of classics use them
That's straight from walbro them selfs

99/00 cars were basically the first to use the later "new-age" style pumps............
