Thumbs up TGV Delete on newage WRX blobeye....

Hi guys this is my first post on here been hanging around for the past month getting some ideas to get me going and the one that i just can't get my head around is i am looking into doing a TGV delete on my 2004 WRX impreza EJ205.

I can't find for the life of me a JDM inlet manifold with the TGV delete's already done....

So my question that i have for you all is will a V3/V4 STi manifold fit my EJ205 or will it require some fettling?

Thanks for looking,

iNeoTom

Thank you for the reply,

Is the Impreza Turbo TGV Delete Kit Genuine Parts just as good as the spec-c inlet?

Just seems abit cheaper at £284.39

Thanks

i thought it was possible to remove the butterfly and the shaft from the oe tgv housing and remove the bridge above the injector. And correct me if im wrong but carnt the wiring from the tgv be used to control avcs or is that only applicable with a syvecs

Where did you get your TGV delete's or did you do them yourself?

You can but you still have to find someone to weld the holes the shaft went through and remove the bridge - easier to buy replacements and sell your old ones with the motors etc to recover some of the cash

Not worth a lot, but the motors do fail so you can get £20 for them

Im going carberry and was advised that they can be left open on a newage without problems. The sti manfold isnt expensive but it a 3/4 hour job to swap them as there are a lot of pipes in the way.
