Default Think I have a leak from around the sump

Hi just need a bit of a conformation before I go out and buy the parts. So my scooby sport has been smoking quite noticeable. But only place I could find oil coming from seems to be the sump. Could someone confirm if this is the prob?

It looks like it is coming from around the seal and is spraying back under gear box and so on.

Cheers
Ash

If it's smoking from the exhaust I would think the engine is burning the oil rather than leaking it.

Try cleaning it up with something like Gunk. Then check after a day. You'll have more idea.

The driver's side cam cover is known to leak.

That sump looks bust, I'd suggest cleaning it off for further inspection
