Default Going MAFLESS

So, when your early classic gets remapped and is now Mafless, its using the MAP sensor, cool.

Since this my idle is poor, idles 1500 then drops to 1000 then back to 1500 then settles at 1000 then can drop to 700 or so etc etc and when starting idles badly until revved no matter what the temp etc, so, could the MAP sesnsor be at fault ?

if so, which on this pic is it LOL

It's more than like poorly tabled fueling for the cold start, but for reference the map sensor is top middle Also make sure your ICV is spotless Put a load of WD40 down the feed tube and reattach and repeat Worked for me on my idle, although when I had simtek it was simply poorly executed mapping to blame

Sound, cheers bud, i have the mapper coming out next week to take another look as it was only mapped couple weeks ago,but its not always when its cold,i.e in the morning, it can be, even on these hot days, if left for a couple of hours it still does it, even tho its not "cold" altho it is cold as in engine start i guess LOL,when its warm it can start like a right pig, fires up at like 300 rpm and splutters its way to proper idle speed if i help it with the throttle and sometiems stinks of fuel
