Default Rough idle/stalling after ssqv fitment

Right I know dv's aren't popular on here so please don't shoot me down in flames lol I've had fitted for a year a Colins dv I fitted a ssqv 3 which I brought 2nd hand I've looked on the guide on here and from what I can see its a genuine unit but after I fitted it the car ran aweful wouldn't idle stunk of fuel and kept cutting out shame really as the dv does sound nice at a guess I would say its a air leak is there a comman place for them to leak any advice would be great

When I bought my car, a mapped 05 Jdm Sti, it had a Turbosmart supersonic v.t.a dump valve fitted. Car used to stall regularly when stopping.Changed to o.e. recirculating dump valve and car runs great with no stalling. Steve
