I've converted my subaru b4 from triptronic to manual and I have removed the engine its now all back together. lv run the engine up so I got hot heat inside the car and fan cuts in and out if I drive it easy its fine but as soon as I drive it hard it throws up check engine light and over heats?

Make absolutely certain the coolant system is fully bled of air. Squeeze pipes etc. If that checks out ok then could be head gasket.

There is no known way to bleed the system on a Scoob.

Drain and refill, do a search for how to fill without airlocking.

What car? Always helps to list car details for future reference.
If classic read tge fault codes, if newage get the codes read.
