Hi all.
Now I usually do some research on here before asking a question that will have already been asked, but as I've failed to find an answer here it is
Which oil are you lads using in a 2.1 Stroker at around 500bhp?
Its an engine tuner build, Wiseco forged pistons, K1 H beam forged long rods, 2.5 Crank, Cosworth bearings, RCM oil pump, Cosworth Baffle sump. 8.4 to 1 comp ratio
In the past I've used Millers CFS 10w40 or 10w50, and Motul 300v 10w40 or 15w50, on standard engines but running 400ish
So should I stick to 10w50 or 15w50 Fully synthetic race oil on a 2.1 running near 500bhp?
Thanks
Rob

Cheers for the replies and heads up lads.
Gussy who's Scott? Ive only even dealt with Mike (parts inc Oil) and Nathan (tyres) Either a new guy unless I just happen to have Mike's direct number
Alyn, what do you need to know? The car isnt used for A-B very much really, but will be used for competing in, mainly sprints.
From memory the oil temp at the moment is steady at 80-85, raising to 90 when its feathered.
