Default 298.9 bhp next step??

ok just bought a bug 2002 wrx currently running 298.9 bhp with sport cat the mid and rear STI genome exhaust ,cosworth filter with air feed through one spot lamp,pink injectors ,STI intercooler ,vf35 turbo which i thinks from a STI too. car is mapped by dynamix . Out of intrest what would the next step be to gain even more power say another 15 - 30 bhp and how exspensive???????

I would have expected that to be around 320 ish with the supporting mods you have, Do you still have the cat in the up-pipe?

I would have thought with that spec you would be way over the 300 mark. Whats holding it back then i wonder.

Again I would have expected 320ish, on the oem fuel pump? Not running lean on boost?

Running lean on boost would give more power, Too rich usually results in a power loss.

it has a walboro pump and a jap speed up pipe???? maybe it wasnt mapped to full potential maybe???

maybe it is a liitle more powerful than the seller claimed as yesterday it sat with a evo FQ320 with ease but i have the map printout from dynamix ........it aslo has turbo ported on hotside to avoid boost creep and uprated accuator,exedy blue std clutch,std headers.. and here is the exact exhaust system setup ( japseed up pipe,std headers,prodrive sport cat,prodrive second cat delete,deresonated centre pipe,and sti genome back box???? anything there holding it up....i will post map too

Id get those afr's checked looks to be leaning out from the mid 4k range upwards which like I said would normally give a higher output reading, Something seems to be a miss IMO.

Agree with Gaz something is not right as the VF35 is a 340bhp turbo

I assume it says 300hp at the fly, and not at the wheels?

Ive had duncan with me today and i mention this to him and showed him the graph. There is a slight problem running abit lean but may be turbo issue. Hes going to look at the map when hes free on his laptop. Hes going to reply to it when hes online again

As mike says it looks like boost is dropping off a lot at the top and that is taking it to a different part of the map or there is some kind of issue on fueling on it. I didn't map it on the dyno on that date - can you contact me and i can have a look at the car or find the map and my datalogs of the mapping.

do you have the boost dyno printout too ?
