Hi Mark

This depends on yours desired compression ratio, usually Headgasket is last bit and I would go with Cosworth HG,stay away from Cometic HG

Sorry Matt for misspelling yours name

Speak with yours engine builder what he recommend and about the pistons and rods, depends on yours target, but Manley H beam rods should be good option and they should be OK for 550bhp

Real Street Performance is great company and really I can only recommend them, second company what i've used is No Limit Motorsports, great place and great prices plus services from them is too awesome

At NLM speak with Adam

This combo not sure if its for 2.1L

Usually for 2.1L you will need longer rods(I'm pretty sure you can use standard length rods) and pistons too are different(usually stroker pistons)

As above I said speak with Trevor@RSP about the options and too with yours builder

That's quite right Jura, that isn't a 2.1 combo.
Instead of shopping abroad and paying import duty, why don't you shop around over here, plenty of us tuners selling 2.1 stroker kits.

with every high power engine build we CR check the heads and block/piston combo to ensure that there are no "suprises"..............

you can generally have a best "guess" as to what will be safe but that doesn't allow you to optimise the build
