It's a bit of a pain, intercooler off so you can take the pitch stop off, Then it's all underneath after that, need to drop the box a few inch to get a spanner on the switch, a lot easier on a ramp.

unfortunately no ramp its a a unit and no tax/mot and needs mapped so I am stuck with a concrete floor and jacks and axle stands and the like, run a fmic so the pitch is on show anyway so that needs disconnected first then a case of basically stripping whatever I can find from underneath to give me access whats the exact location of it as not even had a look yet as wont be tackling it until tomorrow or Tuesday, is it drivers side/passenger side near front/near rear etc?
thanks for the tip about the pitch

From memory I think you get to it from the passenger side as it towards the rear of the box on that side, Trans tunnel in the way hence the need to drop it a bit, been a while since I did mine but think it was loosen engine mounts, Drop, gearbox cradle can't remember if the down pipe come into play though?

As above. Passenger side at the top of the. box. no need to remove the downpipe. Unbolt it at the centre section to allow movement. its tight to get to but doable without a ramp. Also undo the prop centre carrier

It's a brace under the intercooler running from the top of the box to the bulkhead, Just one bolt to undo.
