Default Another exhaust question lol

Hi, I have a 53 plate Sti uk with a de cat prodrive exhaust on and I won't to go LOUD, would a nur spec back box only be a straight fit or would I need to replace the whole lot to a full nur spec system.?

Thanks

Phil

Want it loud or don't want if loud? If you buy a Nur spec s then it's just a backbox 2.5" but the Nur spec r is a system with a 3". I would advice keeping a full system but be prepared to have a map tweak if changing the size of the systems. I have a Nur spec r on mine and its sounds like thunder. Deep burble! BUT!! It's too loud for a daily. Too loud to keep the people happy that live near you!! I have bung fitted to mine 90% of the time now. Your prodrive is a fairly quiet system, I would suggest a vortex or afterburner. Louder than you have but not as bad as the blitz. Maybe go to a local club meet and see a system fitted first

Thanks for the reply. A few Subaru's from crewe area have a blitz Nur Spec R fitted and that's the sound and look I want. I know it's loud but imo its the best. Didn't realise I would need a map tweek if I got one of these. The car has been maped by scoobyclinc so might see if they would do the system and look at the mappingat the same time.

Sorry being thick here... If I get a afterburner, vortex or ninja back box only, how much does his increase the sound of the exhaust compared to my prodrive?

Is it worth it?, or just bite the bullet and get the full Nur Spec R system.

you need to get a de-resonated center section and a raptor backbox from scoobyworld, then take all 3 cats off and you will be heard from a mile away, people will think the end cometh
