Hi my engine light came on this afternoon. Once I stopped the car and turned it back on the light was still on. I did my journey home switched the engine off. After a hour or so I went back out in the car and the light was off and didn't come back on. I have a impreza wrx sti 2003 blob eye. Does anyone know if this was a glitch or should I get a diagnostic kit hooked up and check it. Subaru were wanting 42.50 for doing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

To be honest mate it's best that you get it diagnosed.
