Hi there

Are you planning any track days etc.?

If not I would say standard sump with RCM/Cosworth baffled plate should be OK for yours needs,we are run on our wagon small sump with Cosworth baffled plat without the issue and we are tracked our wagon etc.

It's not particularly a plan to use it on the track but if I can avoid if being restricted then that's all good.

Do the differ for different blocks?

Different ones for single scroll and twinscroll and I think the 2.5 is the sme as the twinscroll, For a normal road ar you won't really need one....They are mainly fitted to track cars to avoid oil starvation in the long fast corners tc...

Baffled sumps have nothing to do with power. Its to stop oils starvation caused by fast cornering.
not really required on a road car.

Lol k, just found one local to us Tubbs may have to have a look .

Is there no benefit to a road car then?. Although I understand that centrifugal force on bends on a track will be higher, it will still help on the road (roundabouts etc)?.

It wont do any harm fitting one but doubt you would create enough force on roundabouts etc to cause oil starvation unless you drive like a complete tool.

It's the long fast bends on track were the baffle helps.
