boost figures???
Depends on your car and breathing mods. The ECU has closed loop boost control, so if it is setup correctly the held boost should not be different although you may get a higher peak with higher octane.
It is strongly recommended to use SUL even on a standard car - there are high and low octane fuel and ignition maps, and it will take advantage of the better ones if you are running good fuel, as well as feeling smoother and possibly giving better economy.
Petrol, oil, tyres and brakes should never be skimped on IMHO.
FWIW I use SUL (the best available locally no Optimax yet) + 1ml per litre of NF octane booster and at much higher boost and with less fuel and more timing my car retards less than some standard cars I have logged on NUL or SUL alone.
