Advice please
Hi I've just put my car back on the road after beening off for 8 months
Over this time I've fitted a larger intercooler
I took the car out for a drive on Saturday and It feels like it does not boost as well as it did before ? Is this the intercooler or could it be something else ?
I also noticed when held at a constant speed the car surges
Now I know this could be caused by a faulty air flow meter but thought I would ask for advice before ordering one
And has any one had one from eBay ?
Thanks for any advice

need more info. what intercooler did you put on it
from your old posts it looks like a 99 Turbo 2000 with PPP? you can get away with fitting newage top mount intercoolers without the need for remap, even a sport cat
id say its more likely a sticky boost control solenoid which you can clean out handy enough by connecting the plugs under dash then spraying carb cleaner through the solenoid

stick your head under the steering column

when you connect the green connectors, the fan will start running in test mode and the boost control solenoid start clicking, you can spray carb cleaner through it while its clicking away
as for the intercooler you bought, as Newage WRX intercooler for about £30 would do just as good a job
