weird noise on warm engine

when stop start driving for a while (hot engine) i get a very weird noise when accelerating in 1st gear... sounds maybe like a low pitch vibration???

any suggestions?

possibly the exhaust cowl is split, mine used to make a sound only at certain revs which would reverberate the fractured cowl.
