Hi all, got a 95 wrx full decat with td04, fmic and cone filter.
Ecutek mapped by Duncan (team dynamics)
He mapped and said I had a misfire under load. Injectors, pump and air to fuel ratio all spot on. i checked and found 2 coils cracked. Other 2 are ok and plugs are all new and gap checked.
I changed and was much better, no misfire under load. What happens now is that on start up it misfires under 3000 rpm until car at running temp then ok!!!
Any idea

 

he may have to tweak the map again im guessing. what gap are your plugs set at? after a lot of reading mine were gapped at 0.65 as that was the recommended setting from most of the main guys on here for a tuned engine running higher boost. apparently its to prevent the spark being blown out with the extra boost etc.

 

Yes set at that! Only when cold have the problem!! Could it be rings and sealing as gets hot
