If its a td04, I would imagine roughly 3000 - 3500 rpm.

Cleaning your MAF sensor might help.

Could try replacing fuel filter if hasn't been done recently. Coils/HT leads not 100% and causing a miss when under load. Turbo boost controller a problem. Knock sensor retarding spark. Faulty O2. Vacuum leak. Restricted exhaust from gummed up cat. Timing off. Sorry for the long list but just trying to think of all the things that could cause poor performance! I've probably missed some things out too!

Cleaned the MAF today and checked all coils and plugs they look all fine! Has improved a little bit but not great amount! How can I check the turbo boost controller? And can't seem to find the knock sensor? Cheers

To check the boost you will need to tee a boost gauge into one of your vacuum lines. you may also be able to check it by using a bluetooth obd connector with an app like torque for your phone or tablet. this will also potentially tell you if the ignition is being retarded. i don't have any experience with it as my car is pre-obd. the knock sensor on my car is on top of the block towards the rear. under the throttle body opening and in front of and to the right of starter motor. given your symptoms i would check she's not overboosting in the first instance.
