Default 1995 impreza turbo missfire

Hi all I'm after a bit of advice
I have a 95 impreza turbo and it has a missfire when it comes on to boost but only when the boost gets towards its max
I have changed plugs, leads and Air flow meter

I'm just wondering if any one else has any ideas?

Regards Chris Wooding

take the rubber tips of the coil packs and check for cracks.
put a boost gauge on the car and check the boost pressure is not too high.

I had a similar problem. Was an earth issue. Had to put the earth directly to the ECU to solve it.

when u checked the Coil packs did you look under the rubber or look at the rubber covers on the ends?
I have to agree with a failing coil pack.

Silicone grease into the boot of each coil pack. Improved the running of my 95 WRX wagon no end.
