Default Impreza GB270

HI, New here, so be kind....just recently purchased a 2008 scooby GB270. everything going okay, then had a wee bit of a small race with a bmw 3 series, which i can happly reported was blown away, however since then the car is behaving abit weird, in any gear as you start to accelerate the car seems to be hesitate/sluggish then woosh it goes. but if you give it the berries its accelerating hard with no issues....also seems to be worse at a chilled out 50mph in 5th gear at 3000ish revs it is slugging all over the place..ave heard it could be a ignition coil or spark plug(s) issue but not getting any engine management light. also running tesco 99 petrol and got worse under 1/4 of tank of petrol...I know there is alot of questions there, but any ideas/clues/expericence in this fault would be great...TA!!

My GB270 Wagon is doing exactly the same thing and I am going to attempt cleaning the sensor as well. I am just worried as I have had the ECU remapped and don't want to lose any of the settings.

Where did you get the CRC cleaner from?

Ebay. CRC Works really well, you've got to let it dry out on it's own, dont be tempted to dry it with a cloth. You will knacker it defo. Car has never missed a beat since, although I was speaking to a car geek from a reputable JAP tuning company he said that its a sign that the sensor could be on the way out. But least you know what it is..:-)
