Question Whining on start up facelift classic ?

Every morning I hear whining from under the bonnet think it is the power steering but not sure as it is only when the steering wheel is one direction ?! Is it a knackered power steering pump or a loose belt ? Belt seems to be fairly tight but keeps doing it any advice ?

change it for what it will cost and you can cross it off the list if it continues and u have a new belt which is never a bad thing

What car you got mate?

Could be secondary air pump if it only does it from cold.

Have you checked the fluid in the system? Does it do it when turning from lock to lock? Does it sound like a slipping belt?

If you want me to have a listen/look, let me know.
