Twinscoll equal Length headers on single scroll block?
Hi,
I have Subaru twinscroll headers, sump, dipstick and dipstick housing.
I've heard equal length headers help with spool and power, so i'm wondering if the Subaru headers bold straight on (with the sump, etc.) ?
I know i'll lose the burble, but I quite like the twinscroll sound :-D

As above, The twinscroll has a different flange where the turbo mounts to the up-pipe(2 ports for twinscroll) as opposed to just a single port up-pipe,You can get equal length headers that have standard single scroll uppipe fitting but aftermarket ones and can be a bit hit and miss on power gains and quality, Does the top of your up-pipe look like this

Assuming you use the TS sump then the TS headers will bolt on. They are not block specific. You can also use a single scroll turbo if you wish, by purchasing a TS to SS up-pipe. I did this when I heavily modified a previous SPEC C to 2.5ltr single scroll - worked really well.
Personally I have found the OEM TS headers to be perhaps one of the best header set-ups for the Scoobs.
