Power Loss
#1
After a longish trip back from up north, My STI 7 Type UK missed fired and then appeared to have lost it's power. The normal power hit after 3500 revs was gone.
I spoke to my dealer then next day, to be told it could be the petrol. The subaru will change it's MAP if it senses a problem with the engine etc.
The car is still not the same as before, but better than that day. I still have the same tank full (BP super).
Does any agree / disagree with the dealers anwser, does the car check and reset MAPS etc according to found engine problems etc.
If this is the case the car should return to it's best once better fuel is restored.
Cheers
