Default Whats the differance?

This may sound a silly question but if you had 2 1994 engines side by side, one a wrx the other an sti can anyone list the differences? and im talking standard jdm engines.

Nothing as far as I know, the 1994 STI was just a production car then a few STI parts put on it.

I have posted the same question on facebook and lots of people are also saying that the MY94 V1 both wrx and sti also had cdb's. Is this also the case?

every 2.0 Subaru Turbo from the original Leggy's had a CDB, only later (poss.1994) that they introduced the OCD and kept the closed blocks for the RA/STi.............

even then by 1996 none had a CDB
