Default Newage Sti inlet

Bought a Sti inlet manifold to go on my wrx bug can anyone confirm by swapping these over it will delete the tgv? Bit confused after a search that's all. The inlet was removed from a type uk 2005 Sti

Thanks in advance

Am not 100% mate I've done a few searches which being up different answers lol. My aim is to delete the tumblers in the wrx inlet so assumed by swapping them over its be a quick fix although read its only the spec c that has the deletes. Confused.com lol

i dont think the wrx has tgv on it, if it has there should be an air pump near the passenger side strut, emmas wrx bug hasnt got tgv on it, i thought it was only on the 2.5 engines, im not 100% sure though.

Had this done on Saturday, TGV delete, duel map, anti lag launch control etc etc. And a list of other mods

Mapped by Andy car

I can now feel the pattern work of the seat fabric in the back of my head

Well pleased with the results

It's a 2002 bug WRX 50k on the clock.

At the weekend I had fitted

FE ported TD05 16g turbo
Ported wrapped up pipe
Ported wrapped headers
3inch bell mouth down pipe
3" egg sauce system
3port boost solenoid
TGV deletes
76mm silicone inlet pipe (under mani)
550cc pink injectors

Maffles
Launch control
WRC super rom map (duel switchable maps)
Switchable anti lag

Already fitted..
Fmic
ITG Induction kit.

£350 for the stuff to be fitted (which I had been collecting an storing up for a while) £400 for map (but switches fitted with inlet temp sensor will be abit more, as I did my own )

The car goes like a stabbed rat, and is very very smooth.

Chuffed to bits

Cheers dude,

I forgot to add Walbro fuel pump

Boosting peak @1.35bar settling @ just over 1.2bar. Not too drastic, but enough for big cheesy grins

What's your anti lag like buddy assuming its mildly set up?

@sunnyjones are the deletes actually in the inlet as that's what I got a bare Sti inlet with spacers no wiring loom etc

You have to relocate the o2 sensor thats in the headers, to the down pipe. Once the exhaust is hot, its really no different than a wrc car

Pop pop bang pop gargle flame pop.

Sounds awesome!

Lol O2 sensor already moved. Have the inlet to go on and two switches which will be fitted before hand. Have all mods on already just going to change the td04 hybrid to a vf34 then go for this map. After your comments really looking Forward to it now
