You would be better with a sealant on white, Wolfe nano range is amazing 1 year plus protection!

Would suggest detailingworld. You would be better off using a nano Sealent, seem expesive but you only use a little and they last a while. Another product I use is code, it's a boat wax, much more durability that automotive products. Don't be fooled into buying colour specific waxes, unless they are dyed, the wax has no clue what colour the paint is, only role of a wax is to provide protection, wax for dark colours will provide the same protection on a light colour car like yourself.

Might be a bit of a silly question but how many weeks or months after can you wash your car after using these products? For example if I use the jeffs kit and I wash my car 2-3 weeks later would it come off?
+1 its a easy to use kit with superb results, also to answer your question about products washing off as long as you use good products you will not suffer with this problem its only cheap and nasty products with no durability that will do that or using to much wash soloution.the products which have been recommended to you will not suffer with that as they all have good durability.as your quite new to this as was said before get yourself over to detailing world and you will pick up a load of usefull information on products to use and wash techniques.SJ.

washing your car in fairy liquid will give the best results I was told

I envy you guys who spend hours on their cars cleaning them, me on the other hand it drives me insane, I can think of better things to do than sweat over scrubbing the car, never been a fan of it, but lucky for me my neighbour and good mate is a detailer and takes care of the waxing polishing etc, he says its a crime to not treat it tidy so I let him crack on
I'm happy to wash it down with the snowfoam lance, blast it off and run a quick mit over it, however you will be pleased to know I do use the 2 bucket method
but come to claybar, waxing, polishing etc i hate it with a passion, once a year maybe ill give it a good polish and get the wheels off, and even then I think "why the **** have I started this"

This is designed to stop dirt sticking. Not cheap though but not that expensive if you consider the price of other top waxes.

this a video about the jeffs werkstat Acrylic kit SJ.http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/blog/...ic-demo-video/
I have tried many and the best i have found that is also a great price is Naviwax. Its a straight on a panel and straight off, no waiting. It is a sealant and a wax in one. I am almost on my third tin, every car i have used it on has come up fantastic. They even sell a tin for light paint or dark paint last time i checked.
I have only tried the wax for darker colours as it was meant for my car only! But every colour of car i have tried it on has worked great. Unless you use a heavy duty car wash like a tfr or something like that it lasts ages as in a good 6 months, beads very well and does not leave residue on any plastic etc.
It can also be put on all parts like glass, plastic etc. but i just use it on paint.
Also note i have a proper polisher and clay etc before hand which really helps the wax do its best for shine etc.
