Default SUBARU IMPREZA LOST ALL POWER

Hi newbie posting,

I own a classic Subaru Impreza 2000 non turbo which has lost all power ?????

I have replaced the coil pack ,leads and plugs and still no power.
It will start sluggishly, idle about 600 rmp but when reving car it cuts out.
I have tried diagnostic tests but wont pick up anything on them and check engine warning light on but only sometimes.

Also checked MAF sensor connected and disconnected but still running the same.

Would appreciate any ideas on what could be wrong with her really stumped now

Thanks

Air leak?
I believe that if you disconnect the MAF sensor while the car's running it should kill the engine. If that's not happening, then you may have a faulty MAF.
