So I'm trying to do this on the semi cheap

My car only came with one key, it's the single button remote

I've managed to locate and buy an identical key obs it doesn't fit my car

Now if I'm reading right I can code this new key to open and close the car central locking myself via the owners manual.

If by some means I can get a blade cut and installed it will then operate the ignition and locks,

The last part is the immobiliser to start the car, can the used key be coded to my car, or is it only new keys this is possible,

I just don't fancy paying £300 to buy a second key.
