Default How many cats on 2003 wrx prodrive ?

I have a 2003 wrx with Ppp pack fitted by subaru I'm looking to get that louder burble I've seen a few different threads on what cats need removing and how many are on there
Someone said subaru would have removed middle cat and fitted prodrive sports cat is this true ...?
Also what other cats would I need to. Remove without failing emissions on mot? People have told me it will pass mot with just sports cat fitted ?
Thanks my head spinning know don't know hat I need to buy as far as decat pipes and so on
Thanks

wrx has one in uppipe and one in down pipe, fit and sti uppipe and a turbo back de cat exhaust of a decent make.

decatting will require a remap

it will pass the mot with uppipe cat removed and just a sport cat in the downpipe

Actually wrx has 3 cats in, centre, downpipe and uppipe.

If yours is ppp, it might have a sti uppipe in and downpipe so you need to check that, remove centre cat.

Hi thanks for reply if the car has Ppp pack does it still need remap then? Also is it just a matter of replacing the middle section cat if it has sti uppipe ?
