Default Spraying Roll Cage What Primer

Would you say there is a difference in cheap and expensive primers? I could spend £10 on a can, or get 10 cans for £10 of ebay, and i used the eBay primer before and it seems ok.

What do you think?

Thanks

Thanks

Is it in the car mate or bolt in?

If its in the car you'd be better taking it to a paint sprayer and letting them do it , better the primer and rubbing down better the final finish

Well the first and most crucial step is etch primer, this is your binding agent else you will have peeling issues along with paint rubbing off very easily in no time at all as there will be no real adhesion between primer/paint and metal.
Allow good time for that to go off and then apply some 2 pack primer before rubbing down and applying top coat.
The cage needs to have some decent paint applied to make it durable as you'll be clambering over it quite often obviously getting in and out etc so it makes sense to do it right first time and forget about it.

Welded in. I'm not really bothered about a super finish, most likley just going to do it my self with loads of tins lol.
Just working out really if there is a difference in primer quality.

Thanks
