Turbo upgrade for 2.5 wrx hawkeye
Hi,
hoping for some advice on a better turbo and injectors for my hawkeye wrx.
At the moment is standard but going into AS performance on monday for..
Full blitz exhaust system and decat
K&N panel filter
Walbro fuel pump
Uprated spark plugs and remap..
Ive been told that the turbo will now be at its limit but ive now decided i want over 300bhp without stressing standard box too much.
I have a budget of around £450 to buy a turbo and injectors if needed to get me around hopefully 320+bhp ..is this possible? Thanks.

I've a vf43 on mine and with similar mods to you I got 350bhp and loads of torque. Just be careful how far you push the standard bottom end though, I had a ring land crack and it wasn't a cheap fix.

Cheers guys...the thaught of damaging the bottom end freaks me out a bit..recon id s##t myself if i had to even think about any repairs like that... So do yas think adding a td05 turbo and keeping standard 2.5wrx injectors along with.. Full system and decat, fuel pump, spark plugs, panel filter and remap should see me past the 320 mark..and would you still consider this safe for the bottom end? Oh and my car has covered 37k miles and id consider it quite a healthy engine if this helps?
Thanks again #stilllearning
