Default No Boost

Hi,

My 2001 WRX has been running fine until yesterday.

I double pressed the windscreen demist thinking it had gone into slow mode but it still wasn't boosting.

I have had a look to see if there were any obvious split pipes but couldn't find any. I revved it a bit in the garage but couldn't see the wastegate open.

Has anybody got any ideas or tips?

Cheers,

Dan

When cars are mapped with ECUtec they are programmed to have a low boost mode which can be selected bu double clicking the window demist button.

How do I check the solenoid? Is it with the black and red connectors?

I have fixed this now. What it was was the C clip that attaches the Actuator to the wastegate on the turbo had come off. Easy cheap fix :-)
