Default intercooler hose

Hi all this is probably a stupid question but im going to ask you guys any way..
I have a standard 04 wrx with ppp and it blew a hole in the prodrive y hose under the intercooler. i replaced it and was ok for a couple of days but is now loosing air again"can hear it when turbo kicks in". what would cause this build up to burst the hose as the garage said they shouldnt burst.
I have never heard the dump valve on it and was wondering if it was inop would that cause the problem.. ? any advice would be appreciated..

Why do you think the new hose has got a hole in it. It may be a leak at one of the vacuum hoses. If its stock then the 'dump valve' is a recirculating valve and doesn't make the whoosh noise you may be expecting???

Have you still got the old hose? If so post a picture of the hole as most likely the hose has had some damage to it prior to it blowing.
