Default To Billet or not to Billet, that is the question!

Time for an up pipe replacement with one of Harvey's (RIP) Trick Pipes to assist in lower RPM spool, now being supplied in memory of Harvey by AS Performance. Turbo (Lateral MD321T) will be removed for an inspection after running flawlessly for the last couple of years on standard JDM Sti 7 internals, 3" system with GT Spec 2 headers with supporting fuel and induction mods, 430HP/370Lbs mapped locally by Andrew Carr on Prosports rollers. Question is whilst turbo is off do I Send it to Lateral to Billet or not? What can I expect to gain in power / torque? with my current spec.

Yes you will definitely gain on like on bhp/torque and mainly on spool side, when you upgrade yours to billet, its worth the money

That's good news, be interested to know what sort of gains and power from similar billeted 321T's running on standard newage Sti internals on pump fuel.

Yep I'm on a Hyperflow TMIC, probably on the threshold of the TMIC but trying to defy going FMIC until I go for a built 2.35 later in the year, finances prevailing.

Yes V power only, induction is via an APS Inner wing CAIK (the larger one) with home made directional air ram.
