both cars have identical torque figures so on the move there wouldn't be anything in it.

you will find that there are a good few hot hatches, diesel skoda's that while you are rolling will keep up,
Subaru's come into there own, from a standing start, & round tight bends.
No std front wheel drive will keep up with a std subaru of the line, but when rolling the fwd with even 180ish bhp will do well.

as for driving at speeds when you have your kids in the car, we all know that should not be done, as you could crash into another car, as for driving fast when you don't have your kids in the can, as I am sure some of the guys on here that are calling you have driven fast on there own,
they could crash there car into another car with kids in it,

we all do things we should't do, whats the point in having a Subaru if your not going to gun it every now and then, just because there's No kids in does not make it right,

But we do it,

Skoda, Green callipers.

every one to there own

Bez

Wellcome to scoobynet
The first 100 posts Are the hardest
Wait untill the DV ,spelling, grammar and English language police come onto the forum later tonight

I assume it was a Fabia VRS ?
Silver with black grill by any chance ?
It's FAST
Remapped to 180bhp
We had a member with a vrs remapped in Cumbrian scoobs years ago it was mental and would keep up woth the big boys too

We have the lakes run end of Feburary if your worried about your cars performance but never under estimate a Fabia

Ok that's me out now

The rest will be on as part of your newby initiation test

The fastest car I have ever witnessed (in terms of picking up momentum while already on the move) was a Noble of some sort and the second was some Vauxhall diesel thing. With remapping you just never know what the other car really is (or if it's being driven flat out by a nutter).

Don't try and prove your driving skills ( or maybe lack of )
To this lot mate
You will usually find it takes four million replies ( usually about the safety of hedgehogs or how you're gonna go to prison for doing 30.5 mph in a 30) until it goes back on topic

Unfortunately scoobys are not always the speed machines we like to think
There's things like the cupra r , skoda vrs that look so unassuming but they're pretty nippy cars

Can't see the problem with how folks spell or grammar , it's b***ocks

Steven Hawking is hardly the best at pronunciation , but it don't mean he's a thickie
And I bet his spelling isn't that good either without his speak and spell
