Default Lambda sensor lasted 6 months???

Fitted an aftermarket lambda sensor at the end of July last year and just got an engine check light on my way home. Fault code 32 which is the oxygen sensor?

Is this a pee take or is it possible and I should of just got a Subaru genuine part?

Bloody thing
