Ive had 2 scoobs before one was a 97 sti the other was a 95 ra i loved em both, I recently bought a 94 impreza wrx with full tomi kaira kit etc etc from copart salvage auctions when i got it home i discovered it had no afm, so after googling AFMs for that model it said buy the green label one, i fitted it and car cuts out after 10 sec so im guessing its wrong OR something else as the map sensor has been fiddled with and blanked off because the previous owner has fitted an in car boost ...any help or advice would be great

My mates Subaru had a faulty Maf sensor,If you was 2 unplug the Maf the car would run fine,but as soon as Maf plugged back in car would die,So personally I would check the Maf sensor as they are delicate,One little drop could ruin it.

maf sensor been well fiddled with ...hopeflly the new shell im getting will have maf sensor left in cos the loom being left preet much intact....will make life easier
