Window motor has gone. advise needed

My passenger side window motor has gone on my 98 Sti type r I'm looking to order one of eBay but there are thousands. are all the window motors the same from 96-2000 or is there anything specific I should be looking at ?

u could try jap spares in midlands or scooby spares on here in sellers section (traders) there good and fast delivery to.

It's defo gone, not the switch?

If you get one off a similar year car, there shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah I'm almost sure mate I will double check now you said that I took it all apart and put a volt meter on the wires and the was current there so I assumed it was the motor as it went when the window slightly froze thanks for the info mate
