Hi all,

Well just over a week ago a lorry driver was kind enough to leave me and the car in front no room so we both ended up with damaged wing/side mirrors (its just my passenger mirror that's damaged)

The glass is actually intact and it still adjusts and the heater element is fine, but it's the plastic casing which has completely broken off!

I've found a replacement mirror on eBay but it says it was taken from a 2002 bug eye STI... Will this be ok to replace the lightweight one I have now?

I have bug mirrors on my blob they fit fine but are a slightly different design

interesting, i have exactly the same dilemma as you at the moment ash.

will the bugeye ones be noticeably different to the blob ones if fitted? as in can you spot the different to look at or will it take a trained eye?

Here they are fitted to my blob.
Only difference is they are all body coloured.
The blobs have a black surround.
The ones i have are bug jdm folding versions.
The jdm bug ones are heated and folding and the blobs just folding which is why i have bug ones

Nothing at all. So will make good money when broken.
Completely unmarked apart from front bumper has been cut for fmic

So are you going newer? Or different colour/modifying route? Just wondering what the point is in swapping a blob for a blob lol

Colour and model.
Keeping the modded parts from this one to swap over.
The reason for breaking is i cant be bothered with the dreamers and timewasters and imprezas are worth more in parts now too.
